Fore Her: A Movement for Love

I bet you know someone that has it.

The big BC.

With 1 in 8 women diagnosed annually, it's hard not to.                                                                                    breast cancer awareness inforgraphic from www.annamollysbychelsea.com early detection is key at what age should women start receiving mammograms annually

I've known quite a few women that have been diagnosed but the most impactful relationship was the one I had with my Grandmother.

Linda Dove was diagnosed with Inflammatory Carcinoma and fought for 2 years.

She was my very best friend for the first 14 years of my life- I spent every summer with her.

We traveled together, worked together.

She taught me how to cook, how to drive, how to make cleaning house fun.

She taught me to be honest and work hard.

Those last two summers were the hardest.

We stayed positive and made as many memories as we could.

After we became first hand witnesses to how aggressive the disease is- we became advocates.

Participating in fundraisers, raising awareness & remembering my Grandmother's life with joy and admiration.

Breast Cancer + Healthcare

As an adult I've realized that being sick ain't cheap!

From chemo to surgeries and wigs to prosthetic breasts, the cost of Breast Cancer averages up to $182,655 per patient.

And what if the patient doesn't have health care?

What if her health care only covers 50%?

This is where Fore Her steps in.

Originally a golf tournament in Saginaw, Michigan- Amy Walsh founded Fore Her to help financially support breast cancer patients.

Now located on the Emerald Coast, Amy continues to provide support through the non profit's three signature events- Tea Fore Her, The Fore Her Golf Outing, and The Pink Walk.

They actually just held their annual pink walk on November 4th-

When a patient finds themselves in a financial bind, Fore Her makes it really easy to ask for help.
  • Print required financial paperwork.
  • If approved, Fore Her will pay bills directly to creditor!

Help AnnaMolly's by Chelsea support Fore Her

I founded AnnaMolly's by Chelsea so that women can easily support charities like Fore Her, by doing something as simple as buying a bracelet!

In loving memory of my sweet Grandmother, AnnaMolly's supports the Fore Her foundation.

15% of purchases made in September and October will be donated to Fore Her!

Together, we've raised $90 to donate this month!

For each item purchased in September and October one #BraceletForLove is gifted to a breast cancer patient seeking services from Fore Her.

Because of your purchases over the last two months - On November 15, AnnaMolly's will gift 38 bracelets and notes of love!

Way to go!

Some other accomplishments we made together this last period:

I'm so proud to know women like you and I love that we're making a difference together- never mind the size of the steps. At least we're taking them.

Be a Catalyst for Love!

Xx
